I want to learn how to better manage 401k money. I am 69 years of age and retired seven years. Have ss and a company pension. I have not taken out any 401k funds. If I understand correctly I must start withdrawls Apr 15,2002. (I'm optimistic.) All my 401k money is invested in My company stock. (GE) It has done extremely well in recent years. Here are some of my concerns. The future looks bright right now for GE. But I do have all my eggs in one basket. Also the IRS's share of any gains grows larger and larger. Is there anything I should do at this time to better protect my funds. My goal is to increase my income.
Any advice appreciated. ww7120
