My take had been, "Retire WELL without spending a lot of money,"

The other retirement boards at TMF are about this, too. What distinguishes this board? I see most of these same posters at RELE. But I would prefer not to post about penny pinching in retirement there, because most of the denizens don;t have to and I think get annoyed hearing about it too often.
In genral (not just to the poster I'm literally replying to):

I didn't say "affluent people shouldn't post," just that IMO they shouldn't post about issues that don;t affect people retired on less.

BTW, compared to the average American retiree, I'm affluent, too--I'm not trying to discriminate against myself! I just would post general retirement issues elsewhere, and issues around spending less here. If this is just another retirement board about anything to do with retirement, what is the point when there are other places to go for that already on TMF?
