My wedding was on a Saturday night, after havdalah. It was officiated by a Conservative rabbi (who later got into financial trouble, but that is another story). My Orthodox cousins from Baltimore did attend the wedding (and he is a rabbi).

Actually, the wedding situation from the previous thread raised another question in my mind: If it was so hot out, was it summer? If it was summer, wouldn't Shabbat end really late (like, too late to even start a wedding)? And if it was an intermarriage, what kind of rabbi (if any) officiated?

OK, some smart-aleck is going to say that it was an intermarriage of a Sikh and a Catholic, right? LOL
