My worry is that if they're not, is it not the case that a well funded gorilla, attacking
an adjacent space which is *not* a gorilla game, might have a very good chance at becoming
either a leader or a strong no. 2?


I think this is a good point. A gorilla in an adjacent space has the advantage of huge
amounts of cash with which to attack the game even if it turns out to be a royalty
game.
