Sure, there's National Nannies - they can lecture lower income people on what their electric bill *should* be in a bid to pretend that "$15 an hour!" is a living wage - - and they get frustrated when it's repeatedly debunked.

Sure, there's Bubble Dweller academics who believe one size fits all, and everything in their little bubble can be common for one entire diverse nation.

As usual, the Faculty Lounge - other than being overpaid and ungrateful and out of touch - -is wrong. Great article on the monthly payments sent to most Americans with kids: (Something this writer cheers loudly)

“The success of this program really is going to lie in the implementation,” said Arohi Pathak, director of policy at the Poverty to Prosperity program at the Center for American Progress. “What is really necessary right now is a ton of outreach and a ton of education to communities and low-income families, particularly those who are not paying taxes.”

WAIT! I THOUGHT "poor moms know how to get all the aid" - well, according to this professional who is in the real world - NO, many need help. HMMMMMMM someone here just days ago talked about - on a one by one basis, helping people sign up or get the assistance. Yes - real world plus motivation trumps the Bubble every day.

Oh, and an side on electric bills..... National Nannies can't regulate those:

"Her monthly electric bill alone is about $370, she said, and so she’s looking forward to having the extra cash to help with such expenses."

Yes, sometimes, absolutism of National Nannies, Graduates of the Bubble Campus - not always accurate.

Here's to President Biden - - let us make sure these child credits become PERMANENT, and increase with inflation just like Social Security.

It's one tiny step towards encouraging population growth which America needs - and from Arkansas to West Virginia, to Churchs and Mosques - people with larger families, benefit rightfully so.

*Another varied topic, posted with non-partisan link and no TMF member personally attacked. Once again, a Democratic policy is applauded and promoted*
