Never was stupid, but did have to go up the chain, clear into Bell Labs, maybe to the engineer that wrote the test code to see what was going on.

Ahh, well...

OK, today's playtime was to boot into Safe Mode, liked the use of a pencil, a battery usb charger provided the weight... All went well, I even swapped into a couple of accounts while there...

DriveDx works fine in the short test, on the main drive, energy settings stopped the test, next time it ran out of space, will run it on the clone & TM drives, maybe more room.. TM Snapshots may be eating free space on the main, 2 Gb drive, not sure...

So I did shut TM off for a bit, see if it helps, else it's a Terminal game to delete them...
