I got into the 2019 Blast but didn't realize it was $50k everyone is using. I am a blip compared to you. Should I try to play it out or just wait till another time. I'm afraid that one bad week may wipe me out. Husband says to get out for now. I tend to agree.

The system tells me you are new to the Fool.

You post doesn't tell me much. Maybe a 78 year old fossil just is not hip. But when you wrote "I got into the 2019 Blast . . ." I have no idea what you are talking about. Is Blast a stock? An investment theory? What?

Generally speaking a whole lot of very successful, very wise people take the view buy good companies and hold them. I happen to agree with that. Our last pay check was dated April 30, 2008 -- like just as the Great Recession was getting seriously nasty. We did not bail on our investments. Today we have more than twice the money we had on June 1, 2007.

If you don't know what to invest in, just buy the S&P500 -- get an ETF or mutual fund to do that.

Tell us some more and you will hear a few different ideas.

Maybe it has to do with one of the premium services of the Fool. Check out this link: https://www.fool.com/premium/blast-off/

princessmates,

Try this board:

https://boards.fool.com/ask-a-foolish-question-100000.aspx?m...

It's the "Ask a foolish question board." There are more TMF employees that patrol it. They'll be able to direct you to the right board for the blast off service. There are premium boards that only people who pay for a service have access to. There should be one for the service that you've bought.

You asked a question about Blast Off 2019, but this is a public discussion board. Select your service from the My Services menu at the top right of this page, then click on the Community tab to locate an appropriate service board for your question.
