Ok, here we go. Starting next Sunday, 5/19/13, you are invited to participate in a weekly class learning how to read and understand financial reports. To help in our study, we will be using the book “How To Read A Financial Report”, by John A. Tracy (7th Edition). To help us in our study, we will be using financial reports from Whole Foods Market and Page Posts from TMF1000...see the provided links below.

Some thoughts about the class:

**While we may, from time-to-time, have an expert join in, this class is a group learning project. So, we will learn and grow as a group.
**We will cover a chapter a week, with each class starting on Sunday. I am looking for people who would like to lead a class, if you are interested, please let me know. After the chapter is submitted on Sunday, we will spend the rest of the week mastering that “piece of the puzzle”. As extra credit (lighten up...this is fun), if you have a company you are studying, we can work on that as well.
**There are a few of us that are learning to write and use Page Posts to increase our investment knowledge and returns, so there will be a few extra credit classes as we help each other understand a different set of numbers.
**There is a link below that will take you back to 2005 and a class that covered this same book, I would highly recommend you take the time and read through the posts. So, why start another class? Great question. Because I learn best by helping others (where I can) and I find it very helpful to have others along side me that can answer my questions. I also thought it would be useful to use a well known company, to show people where and how to find the required information.
**Everyone is welcome. All questions are welcome, if you do not ask your question, you may be depriving someone else of a learning opportunity. So, please ask. All I ask is that we treat each other with the same respect that we would want to receive.
**I will start things off next Sunday with Chapter 1 “Starting With Cash Flows”, I will try and post by 7PM. As we have about 10 people involved, and who knows how many onlookers, I am looking for others to “cover” some chapters. Again, none of us are experts, all I need is for someone to arrange the information. If you want to help, please reply to this post and let me know which chapter or chapters, you will cover.
**I am sure I have missed something, let me know.

Lets have fun, learn all we can, make new friends and become superstar investors.
