"With nearly all the votes counted, an official tally shows Greece’s two traditional parties, New Democracy and the socialist Pasok, would receive sufficient seats to form a coalition government. Projections give New Democracy 29.7% with 129 seats and Pasok 12.6% with 33 seats. Together, they need 151 seats to form a government. Syriza received 26.9% with 71 seats."

Stock futures look to be modestly up on the news (I guess the "relief rally" mostly took place, presciently, last week;-).

I personally had predicted this outcome yesterday based on Greece's soccer victory over Russia -- now, looking forward to Friday and the Greece-Germany grudge match;-).

Ah well, silly me for not posting this prediction yesterday! I'll remedy by predicting a 2-2 draw for Spain-Croatia tomorrow...
