I got two telephone calls in a row, within a minute of one another. Both failed to identify themselves on caller-id. I normally ignore calls like that, but I was bored, so I answered the first one with "Hello." The person said "I will call you back later." and hung up before I could say "I am sorry I answered your call at such an inconvenient time."

The second one, in what sounded like the same voice, but with a different spamming caller-id, was the unusual one. I said "Hello" as usual. The voice said, "Is this Jean?", but he pronounced it incorrectly, so I said "Who are you?" The voice said "Your grandson." Now I have no wives or children, so the number of grandsons I have is zero. But I asked, "What is your name?" and he said "Michael." Now maybe the grandson I do not have is named Michael, but ...

I wonder what would have happened next, but I hung up on him instead.
