I just graduated May 2014, have a stable job employed by the State, get good benefits and already have a 401(k) at 5% that is matched. I started this job in November.

I'm looking to be smarter with my money and stop living paycheck to paycheck. I need "from the start" advise with investment. I'm building a savings account, but is there anything I can invest in now to start getting a firm foundation for future investment in stock?

Any help would be appreciated!!
