Nickel and Dimed On (Not) Getting By in America by Barbara Ehrenreich is a pretty good book. Has anyone else read it?

The author does an "experiment" over the period of several months where she starts with $1200 start up money, then she attempts to find housing and a low paying job. The idea is to do the same as a person who is coming off of welfare. She applies for jobs that a fairly uneducated person would apply for with the goal of trying to survive on these wages.
