I'm not exactly sure how the subject lines in
this forum go together.
Or any of them <mine included>.

But we sure talk about a lot.

Thanks for the dry ice!
Thinking of an Addams Family cocktail.
Lots of fog.

On to nitrogen though, when I bought my new used car, the dealer changed out the tire stem caps from stock to silly green plastic ones.

I asked why?

The salesperson told me it was because they were filled with nitrogen.
And would explode if I added air and I needed to go back to dealer for anything.

haven't exploded yet
and put on proper tire stem caps for my fancy new used car.

I have decided to go with 80% nitrogen in all our tires.

Here we go again........

To get the effect of nitrogen in your tires (reduced diffusion out, less corrosion and less water vapor to flux pressure with temps) you need 95+% Nitrogen in your tires.

.....and yes, I know you are referring to air, but that's 78.09% N2

Reminds me of the salesman who tried to get me to buy the overpriced faucet to dispense the reverse-osmosis filtered water, saying that ordinary faucets would quickly be dissolved away from the inside due to the ultra purity of the water.

I told him it was obvious he had failed high school chemistry.
