Because this card uses different technology for money movement and that it does not have a number, expiration date system it will have dramatically less security and fraud problems - that according to Goldman Sachs. The card will relish on Apple's Two Factor Authentication - that means the person charging has the owner's phone - a lot more security than merely having a card number and an expiration date. Also it will not be possible to added friends and family to a card. One and only one card per AppleID.
