No transactions in an IRA, be they buys, sells, dividends, interest, bond payments, etc. have any taxable impact.

The only potential impact is when you contribute money to, or distribute (withdraw) assets from, the IRA.

(And for completeness there are a few prohibited transactions in an IRA that could cause huge tax penalties, but you don't need to worry about them.)
