Normally, they should have that stuff done by the end of January. Dividends are not so difficult that they need revisions, unlike some other 1099s. I believe they got a reprieve this year of about 2 weeks, but not this long.

Since the start of qualified dividends, reporting of dividends isn't trivial. I have given up any thought of filing early. E*Trade can only report information they receive. When information arrives late, they have no choice but to issue revised 1099s.
