Not picking on SylvesterTheCat here, but this has been bugging me for a while. Has anyone actually been able to establish that this is true? The converse theory that I've seen/heard is that the market for products made by Cisco and Juniper is growing very quickly and since Juniper is smaller, it looks like they're growing faster, at least from a percentage basis.

I do know that Juniper has won large Cisco customers - lots of them - mostly large ISPs like UUnet. However it is true the market is growing rapidly so it is unclear whether Cisco is growing slower in this market segement than this market segment is growing. I think it is but I'll have to take a look at next months Dell'Oro numbers to see if I can get a straight answer
