Now that I saw your post, I do remember it. For a single person I do think it would be challenging if you're traveling alone. Who makes decisions if you're unconscious? Are they going to go through your stuff to find a MedJet card (is there one?), and act on it?

I don't give much thought to my "remains". Drop 'em in the ocean, doesn't matter to me. I'm gone. It would matter to 1poorlady, though. She is from a different culture, and she would want the whole shebang (viewing, etc). Which I find somewhat ghoulish, frankly. But that's just me, and I suspect I'm in the minority.

I do wonder about the Allianz that Ormont mentioned...seems to be a bit more inclusive. OTOH, it sounds like has BOTH. Of course, if he isn't covered by an employee plan then he would need that extra benefit.
