OK - so I've been a Good Girl (tm) and gotten the will, living will, revocable trust written up by my lawyer. I should be signing all that stuff in August.

Then what?

Do I put the will in a folder on my bookshelf, a safe, scan it into a thumb drive? Make sure my kids know where it is? My nephew in another state? Do I include a list of assets - does that include account numbers, amounts? We're also signing stuff that says we can be cremated because apparently the greedy funeral home directors in my state decided to make it MORE DIFFICULT to cremate people without certain paperwork on hand.

But once I sign this book-length pile of paperwork what do I do? Who do I give access? How do I keep it organized? Are there instructions...somewhere?

If I or DH died tomorrow where would I start? If we both died where would the kids start? If all of us died who would dive in and handle stuff? Is that the "Representative"? Trying to be responsible but confused....
