Last year, I had a nest under my carport on a ledge.....the nest was unusual, looked more like a beehive with an opening at the base. I was mesmerized with watching the little birds and the fledgelins.

Well, almost 2 Sundays ago, I noticed the nest reappearing. I had removed the old one once I was sure it was empty...it was falling apart anyway. Those little birds were in constant motion building the nest. Haven't seen them in the past two days, because here in VA., it's been extremely windy....40 plus mph winds. I'm hoping they come back. :)

oh and I agree, the Cornell website is an amazing resource for birders.
