Yesterday was my 1 year anniversary being sarcoma free.
It's a good way to begin cancer awareness month.

My sister is Ca-free after completing radiation treatment in March.
She was diagnosed just days after my second and final surgery.

My extended family lost a loved one to melanoma in July.
She was only 19; my cousin's youngest child and only daughter.
Her treatments and health were up and down in the months prior, so they went ahead with her wedding plans, as well as her college class enrollment.
She died just a few days prior to the wedding and was buried on her wedding day in her beautiful gown. The local University flew it's flag at half-mast for her.

Ups and downs, good news with the sad... Such is life.

Let us celebrate wellness

Be well

Cheers!
