Oh and I have found the Birds, Wildflowers, and Insects and Spiders the most helpful. I know most trees (my Mom taught me). They are good small reference books for carrying. I also have more comprehensive books that never leave the house.

I like shelling so over the years I've collected a lot of books on shells. That's the only one of the Audubon guides that hasn't been as useful as some of my other books.
