Oh, BTW, very nice board you all have here. There's a lot of good stuff in the old threads.

Welcome. I saw your post on the fitness board. We get a lot more action over here. Join in and share your knowledge.

This is a good time to put the unwritten rules of the board in writing.

1. No tattling to the Fool Police. If we wanted to say that a workout kicked our ass, we don't want the post pulled. If people don't appreciate frank talk, don't listen to frank. Other boards have been ruined by Posting Nazis.

2. Try to contribute. Even if you're not sure of yourself, participation is the best way to broaden your horizons.

3. Don't put people down for trying. If you're encouraging them to lift heavy, remember that 10# may be heavy for them but not for you.

4. If somebody's not trying or making excuses, feel free to kick them in the ass.

5. Think of your dream woman in high heels, slinky dress, tight butt, and thong. Now think Andrea. Take as long as you want. It's okay... we all do it.

6. Think of your dream man in high heels, slinky dress, tight butt, and thong. Think of Todd. Buy him a drink and compliment him on his mascara.

7. Some of us are low carb, some are not. Some of us work out at home, some in gyms. We aren't adverse to listening to differing points of view and hearing that our views are wrong. Just don't make it personal.

8. You're welcome to unlurk. Teach us all something.

9. Lifting heavy is a good thing (remember rule #3). It builds muscle quicker than lifting light weight. More muscle equals higher metabolism equals losing fat.

10. Live life. Stay off roids. Respect your body.
