OH, we get high speed trains to nowhere that would have cost $80 billion or more.

You can already drive to every city in the continental USA on excellent highways.......and have been able to for 40 years.....and we keep building even more interstates.

Of course, we don't charge $10 a gallon for gasoline like in Norway. Nor do we have a 22% Value Added Tax on everything you buy, including new cars.

I hope they build a lot of new EV charging stations along it, because Norway has the highest percentage of EVs in the world due to fantastic tax subsidies and the fact that EVs travel for FREE on all the bridges and tollroads - saving EV drivers, in some cases, $60,000 a year.

Then again that is Norway where 70% of your paycheck disappears into the federal coffers..

By the way, this project won't be done to 2026, so don't be in a hurry to go there and spend $10/gal for gas, or be stranded along the route for days waiting for your rental EV to charge every 200 miles.
