Okay, educate me here. If I put $2000 into a traditional IRA each year and spend it all on an ETF, and my trade commission is $7/trade, I would pay $7/year to buy that ETF, right? With my managed IRA, I pay a $12 management fee if my fund balance is below a certain amount (which has happened several times). If I'm just going to buy more of the ETF each year for my IRA and let it sit there, it sounds like I would be better off with the ETF than with a mutual fund managed by Others.
