Okay guys, thanks! Especially thanks to Steph (godaddy) and Patzer. Yeah, I figure that the technical part is not that difficult - it's just like you said, being willing to put stuff up all the time. I already do his craigslist ad and stuff, so it was a natural leap.

Well, the domain name is registered to his business. WebGuy is the technical contact, but it is still registered in bro's business's name, which is good. Brother can take his marbles and go home, as it were, if he wants.

I think for now, I'll just try to have my brother ask this guy how we can amicably have me write content and have him (me?) ftp it up. ("ftp" is a dim memory from years ago...not sure what the kids are calling it nowadays)
