Okay, so I went into my 7-Eleven determined to find the prepaid card. There were no signs present. Nothing that would obviously suggest they were available.

I finally asked the guy behind the counter if he had the prepaid cards and he pointed out the prepaid phone cards. I told him that's not the card I was interested in and said the one you can use like a credit card, and he said, "Oh! The convenience cards." He then pointed to a small cardboard display on the back counter.

From where I was standing I couldn't make out what they said, what denominations were available. I didn't pick one up, but they had 'em! Perhaps a little in-store promotion might get them used a little bit more.
