One more thought in reverse:

For all the reasons one might wish to sell SGP - given what managment has done, it might be exactly the kind of investment someone like Warren Buffett might be very interested again: a brand name company with a great future, hitting a temporary oil patch because of dumb managment decisions - if those are worked out, does it become a version of his Amex buy back in the early '90's? And consequently should it continue to be held for those reasons?
