On June 8th, 2012, I made this post where after 8 years, I got my CC balance down to $0:

It is now one year later and I'm happy to say that my CC balance is still $0. I am no longer carrying a balance from month to month at all. There are regular expenses but they are paid off every 2 weeks. During this time, my savings has gone up and if there are any big purchases, there is definitely cash in the bank to pay for them. After living with debt hanging over my head for so long, I almost don't know what to do with myself! It's a very good feeling and I'm continuing to live within my means and to not buy stuff unless I have the cash in the bank already. I hope this continues.

Thanks for the support (and tough love at times).
