I think I've found a solution to the growing spreadsheet problem. The Excel programming community highly recommends Rob Bovey's free Excel Code Cleaner. It's quick to download and has its own install/uninstall programs. After you install it, the Tool Menu has an entry called "Clean Project." I recommend that people install this and clean the code whenever the spreadsheet startes to grow large. Get it here:

For those wondering what in the world I'm talking about, every version of the options tracking spreadsheet has had a problem with the file growing larger every time the macro is run. Excel takes longer and longer to open and save the file until eventually it refuses to run. I've tamed some of this behavior, but the latest versions of the macro still grow 1024 bytes every time.
