Or someone who could pull a brand new electric Mixer, best of the 3 Stooges tape or size large womans underwear (target brand) out of his desk drawr at a moments notice.

Maybe so, maybe so. But there is the character issue. Usually, it's "once a jerk, always a jerk". Like, consider former Nixon White House hatchet man Fred Malek....

Jailed in some strange dog killing incident in 1959 when he was only in his 20's. Just a prank, like looting Target, it could happen to anyone.

Flash forward to the Nixon years. Nixon gave Malek the job of, among other things, tracking down Jews in the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Notwithstanding repeated evidence of his high character, there was actually an attempt to make old Freddy a governor of the Postal Service in the 1980's.

Now, at age 67, almost 50 years since the first beef, the guy has major beefs with the SEC causing his company to do the old consent decree thingie and pay the $150,000, while Malek personally comped the $100,000 civil fine.

Once a jerk, always a jerk if you ask me.
