It's truly said when the defending national champs are so desperate to win that they intentionally injure the opposing quarterback, taking him out of the game.

Recap, after Wisconsin's Jim Sorgi scrambled for a gain, OSU's Robert Reynolds was caught clearly on camera intentionally sticking his thumb in Sorgi's throat and leaning his weight onto Sorgi's wind pipe. Sorgi had trouble breathing and could not speak making him useless as a quarterback for the rest of the game.

There are a lot of cheap shots in football, but this was not meant to intimidate or show strength, this was meant simply to knock a guy out of the game.

OSU should receive a heavy fine and Reynolds should not be able to play college football...ever. There is no place in college sports for a player like Reynolds or a team that allows that type of behavior.
