This is the first time one of my companies are being bought out. Cleveland-Cliffs is paying $128.12 in cash and stock per share of Alpha. Alpha's stock price is now up $15 to $109. Is the difference in value the chance that the deal doesn't go through? Will Alpha's value rise as time passes and the deal doesn't go belly up? Just curious!
