Mosied over to the Henry Ford Museum today to wander around for a while. Happened to catch a group of presenters-in-training being taught the startup sequence for the Corliss steam engine in the museum. (entire sequence take about a half hour of oiling every bushing in the thing, then releasing the brake) The museum runs it on compressed air, at maybe a tenth of the speed it ran at in service, but still quite a sight.
