Hi Imp - do you have any restaurants called Bandana's BBQ near you?

We're talking to them as a potential client, I wondered if you knew anything about them - I know they seem to have a lot in your area. Good food? Price range?

Thanks!

Marianne

What field are you in where it's ok to disclose the names of potential clients?

It's a company we're marketing to, can't see that being a state secret.

We have them here in the St Louis area. They're okay - pretty decent 'que at reasonable prices. DH's office gets carryout from them frequently. They must have a website.

Last time I ate at Bandana's, there was a really loud group of cheerleaders (I know this because they had on their cute little outfits) seated nearby. I'm talking 'very raunchy and obnoxious'. The staff at Bandana's did nothing to quiet them down. I haven't felt like going back since...

when i worked in St Joseph, Missouri we ate there from time to time for lunch.
Basic BBQ stuff.
It was OK - I don;t eat meat, but my coworkers really seemed to enjoy it.
I usually ended up with a baked potato.
Prices were comparable to Applebee's IIRC...

That would have been much better with a more agressive punctuation.

You have a problem with raunchy cheerleaders in cute little outfits?

Yes, if they are very raunchy with muffin tops and talking about flareups of their STD's.

Bandana's BBQ . . .I wondered if you knew anything about them . . .

You've probably already checked out their website, www.bandanasbbq.com , but thought I'd post it for the heck of it. They sure don't seem to commit themselves to one style of BBQ. Beef AND pork, their sauces seem to cover the waterfront - Carolina style, Memphis style, KC style, and, as best as I can tell, Texas style.

Hard to imagine with the plethora of BBQ choices in KC, going to a place that doesn't commit itself to KC BBQ, though it looks like they're primarily in the more rural areas. My Dad and stepmom have a second home in Leawood, KS, and they're close to JackStackBarbecue, www.jackstackkc.com , which I think is pretty darn good, though I'm sure Imp has an insider's view of KC BBQ. For awhile, there was talk that they were going to open an outlet in Scottsdale, which is certainly underpriviledged in the BBQ department, though it doesn't look like that's still in the works.

After I retire, it'd be fun to load up on discount Lipitor, and tour all the legendary BBQ places, particularly those in Texas and the Carolinas, which I've never really been to.

Sorry, my reply came across a lot more terse than I meant it to, I posted in a hurry.

We do customer service evaluations for restaurants, nothing legal or sensitive that them being a client would be sensitive information, and they aren't actually a client yet.

I wanted to ask if they have a reputation for good, bad or indifferent service, which is why I posted, but that's nothing that would be embarassing or unknown to them.

Sorry if I came across rude....
