Other aspects of full-time rural life: you'll end up spending a LOT more time on the roads because doctors, stores, dentists, everything will be at some distance unless you luck up and the couple of options within five miles works for you. Being sick and the doctor won't Rx anything unless you come in is rough when that's a 30 minute drive.

YMMV but we found rural life called for a much bigger emergency fund. When wells go kaflooey or trees are leaning, ready to fall, there's no time to start saving up to get that fixed.
