Over time, the Vanguard index fund will do very well.
The index funds are fairly tax efficient anyway; you might like something with more potential current income in your Roth. The reasoning is that you are limited as to how much you can put into a Roth and might want to use investments that otherwise would generate a bunch of tax. One of the aggressive Janus funds would be an example. If you are more conservative, the Vanguard index is fine.
