i rent a small apt. in Manhattan with dark wood, very poorly finished floors. Past painters have left small droplets scattered and working with Oops and a chore boy scrubber have had little effect. I saw a dark brown Benjamin Moore floor paint in the paint store yesterday...has anyone ever used something like this?
I would prefer to paint the floors white, but in a rental I don't dare. I need to stay with something close to what is there, but I would love to clean up and polish the floors. Using something like Minwax poly would just hightlight these old paint spatters, I think.
I would love to hear any suggestions on a way to deal with this.

Thank you,
