I am about to start working part-time selling Tri-Star vacuums. My question is concerning my record keeping for my new venture.
1st of all the job is on a commision base, which I make money only if I sell.
2nd they give away bonuses & prizes for incentives.
3rd it's not a door to

I'm very excited about my part-time job to be, but I've never had a sales job before.
What do I keep track of?
Do I keep track of the mileage or the gas I put in my car?
Can I also keep track of food I eat while on the road?
I heard from someone that I can also deduct the mileage from one job to the other, is that so?

And the job does not have a set schedule, I make my own schedule, so how do I determine miles from one job to the other?
Is there an IRS pub. which is recommended for this situation?

Thanks in Advance................
