This morning's provocative and insightful interview of billionaire Paul Tudor Jones by Andrew Ross Sorkin on CNBC is worth watching. Jones questions the Federal Reserve's characterization of inflation as transitory, while acknowledging the power of the Fed to continue its radical policies and resulting inflation of assets.

He describes his own hedging strategies and his likely response to the binary nature of this week's Federal Reserve meeting and policy statement.

Whether or not we like what Jones says and the way he describes the Fed's actions as outside economic and monetary orthodoxy, none of us on this board (to my knowledge) have a longer or more successful career involving macroeconomic investing, wealth generation, and tea leaf reading.
