Money is invested in the Government Secure Income Fund and govt guaranteed. This fund is currently available only to federal employees.


Most people don't realize it, but the Federal Gov't Employees Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) has about the lowest fees anywhere.

I did a study last year on the REHP website showing that even a portfolio of super low fee Vanguard Admiral funds would cost you enough money in addition fees over your lifetime vs. the TSP to buy a new car.
