I would add bathe regularly. For some reason older folks think they don't need to because they don't sweat as much. But seriously they do a regular bath. A mani-pedi for the old guys is also a great idea.

Generally taking care of your self by getting haircuts, dental cleanings all those things I think improve the quality of life a whole lot.
