Facing an entrenched insurgency in Iraq whose ranks have grown significantly over the past year, the Pentagon has devised a new military strategy aimed at driving a wedge between various factions, defense officials said.."The insurgents represent different philosophies but they all want to get us out of Iraq," said Bodine, the former State Department official. "There is no clear national leadership and no politics -- at least not yet -- but we're not far from a time when it could become national." W. Patrick Lang, a former Army colonel and Middle East specialist in the Defense Intelligence Agency, said the insurgents were pursuing "a strategy of isolation of the occupier."

Great, great, great job, Bush. Wrong war, wrong time, wrong place.
Make it up as you go along.

Stupid. Costly. Deadly. Defenseless.

PLEASE no one tell me all wars are fluid, that they cannot be planned ahead of time, that things convolute and change.

We were not prepared, Bush rushed to war.

He needs to be held responsible.
