Online(TM)", announced today that Xplore Technologies(R) Corp. (Toronto: XPL), a
rugged pen/touch computing innovator, has licensed CIC's PenX(TM) 2.0 pen
extensions for Microsoft(R) Windows(R) based devices for use on its Ramline(TM)
and GeneSys(R) lines of rugged pen computers.

PenX is a full featured-pen based operating system extension which provides a
common application program interface (API) for pen and tablet drivers which

recognition. PenX is currently the only shipping product to provide 32-bit pen
extensions for the Windows operating systems enabling application independent
pen interfaces and handwriting recognition.

These wireless pen-based computers with the functionality of a laptop, use a pen
instead of a keyboard are designed and tested for various extreme environmental
elements such as temperature, humidity, altitude, shock, vibration, rain, dust
and emissions. The super-rugged GeneSys Pen/Touch tablet is a completely
