Perhaps all of that is true; in fact much of it is. But sometimes when I see Disney pay ridiculous amounts of profit participation to celebrity thespians/filmmakers, something I have argued against in the past in defense of shareholder value (not to mention executive salaries), I have to look at this amount for a man who has health issues as something that wouldn't break the bank. But I would agree, most don't see it that way. (Not sure he knowingly brought a false claim though, that probably isn't accurate, since royalty checks stopped appearing, it probably was meant in good faith.) And of course I'm not naive, but whenever stories like these come up, whether it pertains to Disney or any other studio, whenever I see a film with a message/moral to it, I have to laugh and remind myself that no one who made/distributed the content really sees things like that (e.g., anyone watching Disney's Dickens take with Jim Carrey on D+ this week will know it's all just hypothetical morality).

And now I will await the Foolanthropy pitches, ha-ha...
