Perhaps part of VRX latest nosedive has to do with the fact Hillary is running a political ad naming VRX as a company practicing predatory pricing policy's. and vowing to go after companies like this if she's elected.

I doubt it. How does the federal government really 'go after' a company ? Will they set up a committee to approve all the proposed prices for all pharmaceutical companies ? This strikes me as being pure demagoguery. The USA is not the Soviet Union, even under a Clinton/Sanders administration.

The real fears for investors are that (i) the accounting is a mess, (ii) they are heavily indebted and may not have the cash flow to cover interest and expiring debt (iii) they may have overpaid for their acquisitions so selling these will not save them, (iv) their GAAP non-profitability is actually not un representative of their true profitability, and (v) they have made as much money as they have because they have been cheating on reimbursement with insurers.

Empty Clinton threats are not high on my list of Valeant worries.
