So I agree that I do not have time to follow a portfolio full of stocks; however, I think that there are a few companies that I do follow and would like to invest in as well. I know this is known as "Love the conpany, like/love the stock."

My personal examples are:

- Apple Computer (AAPL)
- Starbucks Coffee (SBUX)
- Target (TGT)

My interest in in these companies goes beyond just enjoying the products and is more based on the fact that I see the business model they are following as one that will still be viable and profitable in 20-30 years. This being the primary reason to invest I am looking both for specific input on my stocks of choice (I know TGT was a better buy at $29 than $39 but is it still worth it?) and general input on the notion that if you think the company will be around in 20 years, why not buy the stock now.

--Formulating investment ideas at 29 and hoping they will pay off at 72 (planned age at retirement)
