Can anyone provide any guidance or recommendations for new pickup shocks? 1990 Toyota 4x4 w/short camper shell. I occasionally go camping, but don't do any off-roading. This is my daily driver, so priority is street ride/handling.

The recc's I've gotten have all been from off-roading acquaintances and I suspect their ideas (Bilsteins and other high-end shocks) would be great for them but not so much for me!

Like I said, this is my daily driver and I will be keeping it long-term, so I'm not averse to putting $ into it, but want it to be appropriate for my needs (good handling and ride during street driving, without crashing & burning if I take a moderate load while camping).

TIA!
