I saw this article from an investor who used to work for Jeremy Grantham at GMO. There was a reference in Barron's to his work. It's an interesting analysis of the power of platform companies. The economic drivers and market outperformance are noteworthy. My personal portfolio holds 10 of the companies listed in exhibit 9.

Thoughts? What percent of your portfolio do you think is made up of platform companies?
