Please give us the details when you make your decision.

Well, I'm currently procrastinating right now. But I'm going to try to have it in place by '03.

I've decided on a processor who charges 1.25% up to $3000 per month, then 1.45% over that. The debit rate is 60 cents per transaction, and the monthly fee is $10. The one thing I don't like is an additional $3 monthly debit statement fee. This is a company in town whose owner came in and gave me promotional materials.

On the other hand, there is Costco (who uses Nova), who has slightly higher discount rates but no monthly debit fee. The problem is that when I called them for info, it was impossible to get through to anyone.

I'll prolly go with the first one, since I like the idea of having the office just a few miles away, and a nearby business says they are OK. I'm a little uneasy about getting the terminal programmed and if there are fees involved. I'm glad this came up here--it's about time I got off my butt and got things moving...
